Chezi’s Corner” is
named in memory of
the legacy of Chezi
Scotty Goldberg
(pictured above).

Chezi, who grew up in
Toronto, was a victim of
a tragic bus bombing in
Israel in January 2004.
He had become a
renowned expert in his
work with youth at-risk
from both Israel and
North America.  Chezi’s
Corner will become a
legacy of his great work.

Chezi’s Corner Residential Safe House offers
Jewish youth between the ages of 16-24 the opportunity to
live in a safe, caring, kosher home for a short-term period
while preparing to move forward with their lives.

Youth referred to live in Chezi’s Corner are those who are
experiencing some form of turmoil in their life and are
usually out of school and not working.  During their
residency, youth participate in enriching their life and social
skills with the assistance of trained house-parents and staff.

Chezi’s Corner provides a program for residents by
teaching them to be better prepared for meaningful lives
    with dignity and pride.
